I have really enjoyed doing the Wife After God series this past month. It has been such a blessing to be going through it along with thousands of other wives around the world! After seeing the motivation and accountability that this study provided me with, I made the decision that I wanted to carry that over in to other areas of my life as well.
Since having Rilynn, I've had excuse after excuse about getting back into shape and eating healthy again. First it was, "Oh, I still need to be cleared at my 6 week postpartum appointment" and then it was, "I'll just wait until after the holidays" and now it is, "I don't belong to a gym and even if I did, I wouldn't want to take my baby with me!". Well I am done making excuses. I know how good I feel when I workout and I would really like to officially hit my pre-pregnancy weight! Most of all, I just want to get more toned and get back on a healthy eating regimen.
So starting on February 1st, I'll be getting back on track and I would love for any of you to join me! Maybe you also want to get rid of that extra baby weight or maybe you've just been putting off your personal goal to get in shape and eat healthy. Maybe you know that you want to workout, but you're just lost and confused on where to start.
My sweet friend Tamara is going to be starting "The Workout Mama Bootcamp" on February 1. So many ladies (and men!) have truly enjoyed this workout and have seen wonderful results. Tamara is fun and personable and has always been a motivation to me. I love that her bootcamp can be done in the privacy of your own home, so you have no excuses for not doing the workouts. All of the exercises can be modified to fit you personally, and even true beginners can do this program. Tamara sends video links with all of her workouts, so if you have never heard of a specific exercise, she will visually show you how to do it. The bootcamp consists of written and video workouts and you can set your schedule or follow the one that Tamara suggests. Along with the bootcamp, I will be doing the Advocare 10 day Herbal Cleanse for the first ten days of the month. Ever since I saw my friend Janna and a bunch of other bloggers try the cleanse and link up their results, I knew I eventually wanted to try it as well!
I would absolutely love if some of you wanted to join me! Ideally I would love for all of the women participating to stay connected through instagram, encouraging each other and tracking progress. I plan to have linkups where you can share fun recipes you've created or show us the big changes you are making in your lifestyle. This is such a great way to get healthy and to let go of any excuses you have been making for not getting in shape.
