Ryan and I are on a tight budget this year, but I still wanted to find a way to create custom holiday cards. I didn't want to settle for a uniform set of boxed cards - I wanted to find a way that we could personalize them, without breaking the bank. Then I discovered Walgreens holiday cards & loved the fact that I could create them on my phone!
They offer a great selection of affordable cards and I even found a coupon code that allowed me to get an additional 30% off.

Creating the cards took 5 minutes and was incredibly easy. You just log into the Walgreens photo app and click on "Photo Cards". Scroll through all of the card options and choose the one you want to customize. You are then given the option to select photos from your phone, your Walgreens account, Facebook or Instagram. I chose Instagram and was really pleased that they offered this! All of my Instagram photos are edited and have pretty filters applied to them, so I knew whichever image I selected would be ready to go.

Within an hour of my order being placed, I received a notification that the cards were ready to be picked up at my local Walgreens. This was perfect since I didn't have time to wait a week for cards to be shipped to our house.

Once I got them home, all that was left to do was address them and get them sent out to our family and friends! This was by far the easiest and most hassle-free year for Christmas cards. It amazes me daily how far technology has come - you now have the ability to create and print photo cards regardless of where you are. The Walgreens App already simplifies so many things for me. I use it to fill my prescriptions, grab coupons, and check the Weekly Ad. This is just another added feature that makes my life easier.
So if you are still looking for a way to create inexpensive, custom cards for the holiday season, I highly recommend checking out Walgreens. Also be sure to locate a coupon code to double your savings!
