What an amazing day on Saturday at a gorgeous relaxed and informal wedding in Exmoor, in a truly stunning rural location!
This wedding day had so many things which make me happy, as a photographer. A fabulous setting; a really lovely couple who are tremendously in love and can't help but show it; relaxed, happy guests, and above no unnecessary formalities, no stress, no hassles, just a joyous celebration. The couple married at the village church, literally just yards away from their house on a hillside location so beautiful that it made me almost tearful to see it (sorry!) and then held their informal reception in the lovely surroundings of their own garden, enjoying the same beautiful views. And even though the sun wasn't too keen on showing its face, the wedding stayed dry - hurrah!

Although I haven't yet had the opportunity to go through the entire set of images, my favourite to date must be the shot shown above, as the vicar is handing the pageboy the wedding rings to take care of - the look of pride and excitement on his face says everything!
