Philanthropy and working towards abrighter future
While personal success can be rewarding, helping others have a brighter future is also a worthwhile and rewarding endeavour. Many successful women have chosen to form foundations and fund efforts to improve the lives of others. Sometimes these causes hit close to home, and sometimes they are chosen because of a unique need. Regardless, the work these women do in an effort to make the world a better place is admirable and something that all young women can use as inspiration to do their best. Not everyone has the resources and influence to make large changes. While every effort helps, those that have more power can certainly facilitate changes quickly. It is easy to rest on success. The true leaders are those that use their good fortune and hard work to help others.
