So you may remember last week when I mentioned that I was off to the leasing office and I promised more real blog posts later that week. Those real blog posts obviously didn't happen. No blog posts happened. And that's because I moved this weekend. Yep.
It was crazy and long and I'm still super tired but I'm officially moved into my new apartment -- even if it does look like a hurricane hit it. I also spent a good chunk of time today perusing Pinterest for bedroom and kitchen storage/organization ideas as well as general design/crafty ideas for the rest of the place and then scouring the internet to determine how to make those things actually come to fruition.
In any event...here's the Instagram recap:
1) Me with my keys right after signed the lease. Sorry I look awkward.2) After a legit freakout, I spent Thursday night eating homemade pizza and drinking a homemade smoothie and completely reworking my budget like...four times.3) My apartment keys! :D4) Picking out paint colors with my madre.5) Friday night we went to this dance thing at the studio my parents have been taking ballroom lessons at for my sister's wedding. That's my parents doing a foxtrot.6) Chick-fil-A lunch break with mom, Office Boy, and the roommate on Saturday, moving day #2.7) Madre and I after we finished painting my room.8) Me and the girls with the big sis at her bachelorette party.9) Roommate and I got Chipotle for dinner for our first night in the apartment together.10) My bed is finally in my room. Huzzah! It's progress!
So yea. I'm super duper tired now because between moving and my sister's bachelorette party, sleep didn't really happen. But the apartment is slowly but surely coming together and I promise to have pictures of it soon. Along with real blog posts. Hopefully.
