I'm sorry I was MIA over the weekend and *gasp* didn't even post in The Saga of Office Boy! I know, I know. It's awful and I should be taken into the square and flogged. Or...something.
But I promise it isn't because I don't love you anymore. It's just because I for serious needed some breather time. I've been GOINGGOINGGOING for the last several weeks and I'm slowly, but surely, running out of steam. And so I just needed to take a couple of days off and not write or think or anything productive like that. Saturday I stayed in bed (more or less) until 2:00pm and it was so glorious. Oh man. I cannot even tell you. I didn't do anything productive that day at all and I can't even tell you how wonderful it felt.
In case you didn't see, last week I posted an Instagram recap of my weekend. Well, the wonderful Shane from Argyle State of Mind liked it and suggested I turn it into a regular feature. And so, that is what I am doing.
Sometimes my weekends might be boring or I might forget to take pictures of things, so there won't necessarily be an Instagram recap for every weekend. But I shall do my best.
So, without further ado, here is the Instagram recap of my weekend. :)
1) I had Friday off and went to see "The Lorax" with some friends. Pretzel M&Ms were a yummy snack.2) My bestie and I went to see the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center with her mommy and brother. I'm gonna have Brahm's Hungarian Dance No. 5 stuck in my head forever.
3) Panera dinner date with Office Boy and an evening of watching (and finishing) "Firefly."4) Easter pageant rehearsals are in full swing. We've even got costumes now! Also, my bestie and I make the best faces. Don't you agree?
5) The weekend ended in a very relaxing manner as I binged on an entire pint of Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk ice cream whilst watching "Once Upon A Time." (Don't worry...Bridesmaid Boot Camp Diet starts tomorrow. Also, if you don't watch "Once Upon A Time" you need to. Go. Do it. RIGHT NOW.)
