Integrity Botanicals {Review}

One of the first things I worried about when I found out I was pregnant, was trying to figure out if the products I was using were safe for the baby. I do try to find natural brands and items whenever I can, but now I am really super careful. I came across Integrity Botanicals and I was so excited. They offer an insane amount of natural beauty products and I love that it is an online store. They have Free Freight Fridays the first Friday of every month, so you don't even have to worry about shipping costs. I was shocked to see how many items they really offer - they have pretty much any sort of beauty item I could think of.
They offered to send me a few different items I thought I would need. The first product I was curious to try was a natural deodorant. My mom is always telling me how bad normal deodorant is for you and that I should really find a natural one that I like. Integrity sent me Soapwalla Deodorant Cream. Ok, yes I was a little freaked out when it arrived. It comes in a pot and you have to apply it with your fingers. After I actually tried it though, it wasn't so strange! It worked really well as far as keeping me dry and protecting from any sort of body odor. It will probably take some getting used to, but I definitely like this brand WAY better than the natural deodorants I have tried in the past.

The next beauty product I asked to try was something for my face. Almost all of my face care before becoming pregnant contained parabens or retinoids - two big no no's in pregnancy. They decided to send me the MyChelle Fruit Fiesta Peel. Little did I know at the time I first requested the product that I would appreciate it so much! My skin started breaking out a lot around week 7. I was desperate for something that could clear it up and make my face feel smooth. This peel is awesome! There is actually seeds and chunks of fruit in it, which I really like. You only leave it on for 3-5 minutes, but when you rinse it off, your face is so smooth and fresh feeling. I have been so appreciative to have this. It gives my face a little pick me up every few days.
Lastly, I wanted something for my feet. I grew up in the Southeast. Straight humidity and moisture. Moving out to Colorado has taken a toll on my skin and scalp especially. The air is so dry and I'm just not used to it. My feet looked disgusting after this winter. They were so dry and almost even cracked. They sent me Weleda Skin Food. This is hands down THE BEST foot lotion I have ever used. After only 2 days of putting it on before I put my socks on my feet, my feet had transformed into hydrated, moist little tootsies again! It smells wonderful and I really was surprised at how well it repairs dry feet. It is very thick as well, so a little bit goes a long way!
I am so happy to have found Integrity Botanicals. Not only are their variety of products great, the couple who owns the company are some of the sweetest people I have ever worked with. Terri and Marc try out every single product before they agree to carry or sell it in their store. They believe in researching the honesty and integrity of all the brands before the offer it to their customers. Terri also was so thoughtful and kind. About a week or two ago, a second package arrived on my doorstep. She had put together a little "mama care package" for me and our future little one. It was so sweet and I couldn't believe she went out of her way to send me something a little extra as a gift.
