Intentional

This year I wanted to be more intentional with my life. I really don't know what I wanted to accomplish with that word, but I can say that I don't feel like I have been very intentional with anything.
This year has been gone by so fast. I can't believe that it is June. I'm not sure where I thought I would be with my life in June but this doesn't feel it. I think I went from over-committing myself to things to nothing at all. Honestly that's me though. I'm kinda an all or nothing type of person. I need to realize that some things are good in moderation. 
So to finish the rest of the year I want to be intentional in the following areas: My Faith: I NEED to be better about making time for my quiet time. I have been horrible lately about waking up early. I just wake up at the lastest time and just walk out the door. This philosophy has affected many areas in my life in a poor way. This is going to change. I am doing the She Reads Truth #365DaysOfTruth and reading the bible in year. Most days (and by days I mean weeks) I listen to the bible. At lunch I am going to read The Confident Women Devotional by Beth Moore. 
My Marriage: We have been married for 4 years. We have a great relationship but it is something that takes work. We both work so much to save and pay bills that we forget each other sometimes. I know that I do. We are trying to go out together at least once a week. I recently read that Bill and Guiliana have a phone free policy in their house, and I think we could implement that in our house more. When we lived in OKC we had every Wednesday we would have no technology night in our house. I really liked it and think we should get back to it. 
My Body: I have paid for a gym membership and trainer sessions for the past 3 months and only really go when I have a training session. That is absolutely CRAZY!! I have penciled in my planner and plan on going at least 3 times a week. Gary and I also decided that we want to run the Marshall University Half Marathon. I really want to do the marathon, but its just a second lap around. I'm actually really excited about it, and can't wait to get training on it. I will work out 3 days a week and run 3 days a week with 1 rest day! (Probably Saturdays) 
I am also going to be more intentional with my food choices. I was doing really well and then had some things come up that really bummed me out that made me fall off the wagon. I am going to plan my food for the next month and stick with it. 
My Job: I am going to be more intentional and how I spend my time at work. I have set some big goals this month and I AM going to accomplish them. I think if I am more focused at work then I can turn off work brain and focus on the things that I want to do. 
My Routine: I need to find a routine that fits in my lifestyle BUT also gets everything done as well. I struggle with finding a good routine because I don't want every minute of every day being planned. I want to be able to have some grace and margin.
