Into Dusk

Measuring time for a cigar smoke is for me pretty much non-existent. It is only seldom that I will look at the clock in order to know how much time is available for a cigar.  With this activity I demand that the key for a smoke is the pleasure, not the need. Thus, lighting a cigar – or a pipe – does not require any time consideration.

As a result, this evening I found myself smoking a pipe only halfway, as the lounge started closing for the day. My immediate an unusual decision was to finish my smoke outside.

I like the hues of twilight. And as beautiful as leaves could be in Autumn, knowing that trees are once more flourishing does not only offer a colourful sight. We witness the freshness of growth once more.
