I have had a severe case of writers block for a few weeks now and it is DRIVING ME INSANE! So I have decided to get intoxicated and write. After every drink I will write a new paragraph about a topic of choice thanks to my dear Facebook friends. Also, this is why I could never be a journalist or professional writer – I’d have to be drunk 99% of the time to write.
So here it goes, my FB friend Mark contributed the topic… which will be interesting.
TOPIC: Why Men Are Actually Pretty Cool
After 1 Drink:
Men can be pretty cool. I thought this would be hard to write but then I was thinking about it and I actually quite agree with this statement. My dad raised me from the age of 10 upwards and my best friends growing up were my big brother (2 years older) and my little brother (3 years younger). We’re still quite close today regardless of everything that has happened in the past and have been through hell and back with each other. I have learnt to forgive all of them for the various nasty things they did to me when I was younger and the years of humiliation I suffered at their hands. For instance, when I was still in a crib, my big brother stole a whole chocolate cake from the fridge and ate it, then dumped the remains in my crib and rubbed it over my face and hands…. He confessed later to his crime. But he then also proceeded to pee on my face a few years later…
My little brother put me through years of hell just by being good looking (read: Damn Girl Where’d You Get Dem Genes) and also because he used to pinch me and rip skin off me and never EVER get in trouble for it because he was too damn cute!
