It took a few hours but I downloaded iOS 5. It’s fine. I’m wondering if the new features are more apparent on the iPad? Of course, I haven’t started using iCloud yet so perhaps that will increase my happiness at updating.
One feature I do notice and hate is that music is separate from videos. Why would Apple do this? Were people actually complaining that going into their iPod and hitting the video button was taking too long?
This feature also annoys me because it just doesn’t make sense. Everything that used to be under iPod is now under Music, except for video, and yet they still call it music! This doesn’t make any sense. I have podcasts and audiobooks (one narrated by Alan Rickman). Those aren’t music! I love Alan’s voice to be sure but his narration of the audiobook isn’t music!
I hope that this is changed for the next update. It’s the only change that I don’t like and will never appreciate.
