Islamic Accounting Seminar

Last July 7, my batch Vidas went to Liceo de Cagayan University in Cagayan de Oro City to attend the Islamic Accounting Seminar. For anyone in the Philippines, this is a topic that is not taught inside the four walls of the classroom. We were happy enough that we were given a chance to learn more about accounting.

At the bus station with my lovely super friends, Sol and Kylie.

Bus ride.

Me and Sol on the left.

At the venue. Sorry, the photo looked so dark. I did a batch editing. T_T And I am too lazy to reedit. hahah.

My seatmate, Tingting

We happened to fall in love with the wall. It’s just so pretty.

The program starts.

The speaker, Amanoding Esmail, CPA, MPA. He talked about many crucial basic things about Islamic accounting. Alhamdulillaah, I learned a lot. I appreciate his sharing of knowledge so much. It was easy to listen and learn about these things because of him.

Apparently, someone got bored at some point. I think, this was during the open forum. I actually asked something. After that, I can’t relate to the questions anymore.

Someone indeed was bored. hahahah

Speaker receiving his plaque of appreciation. Thanks sir.

It was not easy taking an almost two-hour bus ride just to attend seminars. However, I did not neglect going to the seminar. I learned a lot. This made me more definite about my future plans as well. I think, it was Allaah’s way of telling me of what step to take in the future.
