It's Okay to Be Thankful Thursday

Posted on the 21 June 2012 by Thenigottothinking @tracyzlesh
Last week, Neely from A Complete Waste of Make Up, Amber from Brunch With Amber and myself did our very first It's Okay/Thankful Thursday Mash Up.  So many of you joined in... and it was great reading some of the responses.  Because I was on vacation, I wasn't able to explore as much as I wanted!! It's Okay to be Thankful Thursday It's Okay that I just got back from Hawaii and haven't unpacked a single thing.  (Except computer and work stuff)
It's Okay that I still need to lay out by the pool and get tan(er).  One week isn't long enough in paradise ;)
It's Okay that it's 100 degrees outside and I still take baths.
It's Okay that I have a large to - do list and I am taking a few minutes to write this up.
It's Okay to be Thankful Thursday I love taking a few minutes out of my week to remind myself of the wonderful things in life that I have to be thankful for. I am thankful for our air conditioner.  I know it's simple, but so many people can't afford to use theirs or don't have one at all.  It's so miserable being unbearably hot.
I am thankful for the many memories made on the trip to Hawaii with (part of) my family. {recap coming soon}
It's Okay to be Thankful Thursday I am thankful for my friend Melissa... she stayed at our house all week and took care of Maximus & Zeus.  It's always comforting leaving home and knowing someone is here constantly to look over your house and especially your pets.
I am thankful for my job with Hands4Hope.  I feel so blessed to be in a position where I get to work with a passionate and determined Executive Director, and hundreds of compassionate, sweet, and hard working youth.
I am thankful for two amazing sponsors - Trish and MJ - who donated $15.00 to Hands4Hope to put their ad on my blog.  If you're interested... click here.  Please visit their blogs... both of them are great people.
