Photo Post It should come as a surprise to no one that I’m completely emotionally invested in “Nashville.” It’s making my entire Wednesday. That and the half bag of candy corn that is talking to me from the kitchen cabinet.
If you like the music on Nashville—and like me, the duets most of all—then you should check out the album “Raising Sand,” a country rock collaboration between Alison Krauss and Robert Plant. Yes, THE Robert Plant, the one from Led Zeppelin. This suggestion is probably super obvious, but I give it just in case you’re a music neanderthal like me.
Also, just in case you were wondering, that gorgeous song sung in the pilot episode, the one by that pretty couple that should be together but won’t because there are just so many OBSTACLES in the way, was originally by The Civil Wars, another country-lite band that I’m pretty into.
