It Was a Street Feast Friday...

So here's my advice of Street Feast at Hackney Downs Stuidos, don't go on a full stomach! The place smells foodly divine, then it's decision time of what to get. It took me forever to decide, as there were so many yummy options! While making my mind up I had a lovely brewed Christmas Chai Rooibos, with warming notes of Cinnamon, Cardamom, Cloves, Nutmeg, Liquorice, Ginger and Fennel from Joe's Tea. Love the packaging designs of this Shoreditch based tea company, which is definately an up and coming contender in the tea market and one to watch out for.

I'm really glad the American influence of Hot Dogs and Mexican seems to be hitting the UK lightening blot, as I heart both. I opted for the healthier choice of Mexican enchiladas from Buen Provecho. The dish was hearty and delicious for a cold winters night and it meant I didn't feel bad having a naughty dessert or two from The Russet and maybe a bit of salted caramel icecream with fudge sauce (what can I say winter makes me hungry). All in all a really great idea to combine music, vintage shopping and mostly importantly street food vendors all under one roof at night. This is definately worth checking out soon if you haven't already done so!
