The day after I'd bought them, the buds had opened to display a gorgeous array of sunshine and yolk yellow daffodils. They make me so happy and already I can feel a positive shift to my mood. I have them pride of place on my window sill so they are the first thing to grab my attention when I'm cosied up in bed on my laptop (like I currently am). On days like today where the sky is gray and the trees outside are bare, they have been a splash of color and an instant mood booster. It's the little things that make a big difference, as that old cliché says and it's so apt right now!
