I am eagerly waiting for Jeremy Piven to be back on the UK TV-screen as Mr Selfridge later this month. So, move over Downton Abbey! Mr Selfridge is opening shop again and Season Two promises to be as fa-bu-lous as Season One.
There will be showgirls, gambling, booze and luscious living. There will be tears and heartbreak! Everything that makes Mr Selfridge spectacular and must-see!
If you are not familiar with the British period drama Mr Selfridge, Jeremy Piven plays the flamboyant American businessman Harry Gordon Selfridge who founded the London department store Selfridge’s.
Harry Selfridge is an American with a booming voice and big hand gestures. Where have we seen those before? Of course in the role that made Jeremy Piven a household name – as the hard-yelling Hollywood agent Ari Gold in HBO’s awesome Entourage.
Two larger than life characters back-to-back and Jeremy Piven is on top of his game. Roll the titles!
