Jerry Springer~I Miss Your Porn…

Posted on the 12 October 2011 by Redneckprincess @RdNeckPrincess

About three months ago I changed service providers for my internet and tv. I have had my phone with Telus for years, and they made me a really good offer that put my bill down about 35 bucks a month. I figured, sweet… and only one big conglomerate to bitch at instead of two right?

Now I am sometimes fairly technically challenged, even though I try my hardest to figure it out, this tv has some days sent me to the edge of insanity, and you all know I am fairly close to that edge anyways…

See the problem here is common sense.

Apparently as soon as I pick up the somewhat confusing to me remote control, all of the common sense that I normally possess, flies right the fuck out my front door.

Now I have tried to be reasonable, I have tried to be calm, cool and collected. I don’t show my fear…

It just seems to me, that if it isn’t ME screwing it up, it is messing up all by itself.

We have pixelation, we have freezing, we have the dreaded black screen…

I have rebooted, restarted, pushed the fucking OK button, and nearly ran over the damn PVR box with my truck a thousand times.

Still, nothing good is happening.

And my BlackBerry…well lets not get me started on RIM right now, we are all dissappointed right?

So in the wise words of my friend Lou, over at Pissy Kitty’s Litter Box…I am going to back away from the screens slowly, all of them…and I am gonna go outside and get some fresh air, I am going to find my real life again while the weather is still cooperating, I am gonna take my wee dog for a walk, and live my life a little bit more than I have been as of late.

You know me well enough to know I won’t go far, but for today…I am outside, and all the technology that is screwing with me right now can go to hell in a handbasket…

Have a great Wednesday my friends…
