JJ Cole Metra Unisex Changing Bag Review

Posted on the 16 April 2014 by Alex_bumptobaby @bumptobaby_blog
Us ladies all know just how lovely changing bags are these days - from pretty floral prints to sleek modern almost unrecognisable as changing bags bags, there's no denying we are totally spoilt for choice!

But what about the men?

Yes, there are the somewhat simple 'completely black' options, that are, I suppose, on the cheaper side when compared to the kind that us ladies tend to lean towards but isn't it about time that the more stylish Dads out there get something just a little bit more fancier than the average all-black bore some changing bag?

Let me introduce to you..

The JJ Cole Metra Unisex Changing Bag..

The stylish design and colours are what make this bag a great pick for the modern man. The blues, the greys and the blacks go perfectly together to ensure that Dads everywhere feel comfortable to bring this with them on 'Daddy days out'.

The bag is spacious with large hidden large compartments throughout. It's clearly been very carefully designed to ensure that there's a place for everything that's needed for both baby and Dad.

The foldable element on the changing mat and the designated compartment to fit is so much more of a hygienic option compared to changing bags that don't offer this. The mat folds perfectly, but I feel it is slightly let down by it's lack of padding. Still, the design is a great touch.

A studded bottom for the bag is another great feature - this helps to keep the bag in a better condition for longer as the studs protect the material from the hard surfaces of the floors.

All in all, this a winning choice, in our opinion, as a unisex changing bag. The many compartments and cleverly designed features set this apart from the more traditional unisex bags. But it's the design as a whole that really stands out the most, closely followed by the great quality material. My own Husband is thrilled with the bag and is looking forward to using it a lot more when I return to work and he has a whole day every week alone with Ethan for the first time since he was born.

The JJ cole Metra can be found here. And is priced at £54.99.
