Jo & Leighton’s Engagement Shoot | Diss | Norfolk

Posted on the 23 May 2012 by Jamiegroom

I’m Jo and Leighton’s wedding photographer next year at Elm Farm, St Faith’s, Norwich. This was the first time I had met Jo and Leighton. I was recommended by an old school friend, and as they were here on a break from Manchester, it was an ideal time to meet them and grab a few shots!

It was a bright Saturday morning, to meet Jo and Leighton in Diss. Jo had mentioned that they would like some Norfolk countryside photographs as it’s one thing they miss living in Manchester,  so we headed for a rape seed field which was in full bloom.  After shooting for about half an hour we were unfortunately kicked off the field by an angry farmer who said we were disturbing his yield!!!

We then moved onto Leightons Grans house, which had an amazing family history of over 100 years!

I had a fantastic morning with these guys, even if we did get shouted at by an angry farmer.  I learnt a lot about Leighton’s family history and got to know these two better and really look forward to their wedding next year.
