I am really late this month with putting up my monthly favourites and I apologise. I don't know why it's taken me so long. Once again, I have some pretty random favourites. There's only a few beauty related. I don't know why, I just seem to be using the same things every month instead of mixing it up every now and again. If I did everything that I've been using every month, it would get pretty boring seeing the same things. The items I've chosen are ones that are new from the month of June or just re-discovered.
The Women In Black - I think is a brilliant horror film. I don't know how it's been given a 12 certificate. This film petrifies me. I have yet to watch it on my own as I'm too scared. I am a horror junkie and for a film to scare me this much, I must like a lot. I think the stage show is scarier just because it's live but they did a really good job of this film. I really like it and I was very impressed with Daniel Radcliff. I can watch it over and over again. This is the only film ever to make me scream out loud. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend. I also recommend having a pillow handy to hid behind.
Elie Saab - is one of my top favorite perfumes. I got this for my birthday in May and I don't use it every day as it's one of my special perfumes. I think for a perfume it's quite pricey but the scent is gorgeous. It's quite strong. It reminds me of Juicy Couture: Couture Couture which is actually my all time favorite scent. Strong and sophisticated. You don't need a lot so it will hopefully last. Also, I adore the bottle. It's so pretty and simple.
Clinique anti-blemish solutions gel - This little thing is amazing. I bought it in June as a last minute thing. I went back to buy more moisture surge and make-up remover, but me being me can't resist a deal and if you bought three things, you got lots of points on your Boots card. So I read this quickly and decided to give it a try. I've heard a lot about Origins Spot Treatment but have never gotten round to buying it. I'm so glad I bought this. It really works. I put it on any scary looking spots at night, and by morning they are no where near as red and are less swollen. The one tiny thing, is that I can't use it in the morning as it leaves a line and foundation doesn't cover it up at all. But overall, a brilliant product!
Clarins Instant Definition Mascara - My friend at work gave me this as she only wears brown mascara and it's really good. I don't know if it's just because it's a miniature size and it's easier to control the wand, but it really makes my lashes long and separates them really well. I would probably buy the full size one.
Covergirl Natureluxe Mascara - Apparently I love mascaras. I have loads and I'm currently trying to use up old ones as I hate throwing them away. I bought this one on my USA holiday last year. It's amazing! One of my favourites. Sadly this one has finally run out, but thanks to Cassidy hotmessinachaneldress she had bought me the waterproof version in our swap! The reason why I like it are similar to the Clarins one, it just separates my lashes beautifully.
MAC Select cover-up concealer - This one and MAC's studio finish concealer are definitely my favorite concealers of all time. I use select cover-up under my eyes, around my nose and lips and on the redness that I get on my cheeks. It gives my skin such a flawless look. I get so many compliments about how flawless my skin looks and it's all thanks to this! It's so good. I highly highly recommend.
Ciate - Purple Sherbet - I had this in my May favourite's too and I have worn it loads in the month of June. I love the color and the formulation. It applies to the nail so well without any streaks! It also lasts ages. I've just put it on my nails again. I'll definitely be buying more from the Ciate line.
Completely random but being a big book worm I love my books and so of course I love my new bookcase that I bought last month. I also love it more because I put it all together myself. Two man job? Phhfff one women :)
Favourite song this month is Just a Kiss by Lady Antebellum. I've listened to this song a ridiculous amount in June. It's such a lovely song and I love their voices together.
My favorite album of June is Born and Raised by John Mayer. My work friend got me this for my birthday in May but I have listened to it non stop since. My favorite songs are: Queen of California, Born and raised, Born and raised (reprise) and Shadow days, but I can easily listen to the whole album. Great songs.
And last but not least, my favorite TV show is non other than New Girl. Zooey Deschanel is brilliant! This TV show is one of my favourites. It's hilarious. I've already watched the whole series but I'm currently going through it again as it's brilliant. It really lifts my mood if I'm feeling down. If you haven't already, you need to watch it!
And that's it. There's no YouTube favorite this month as I've just been watching the same people all the time and they are all just as good as each other.
What are your monthly favourites? Are any of them similar?
