It’s time to say more and stay human. It’s time for Skype.
Staying in touch with those who are close to you when they are not close by can be a challenge. Email and phone calls as well a photo accounts of your life are one way to do this, but the best way to stay in touch is Skype. You can chat live, while watching the people you normally wouldn’t have the opportunity to see, right in front of you. They get to see you live as well. This way you can share a more intimate chat, and when little ones are involved it can be a lot of fun.
When we talk to my parents we have our daughter sing her songs, sometimes she does a little dance (it’s so cute) and they get to watch her! They get such a joy out of it, because they get to see how much she has changed and how much she has developed, the new things she is saying/learning and doing. She gets a kick out of it as well, because she gets to see her grandparents. As she grows up, that’s great because pictures don’t cut it. She gets a much better sense of them, and they of her, this way.
We are greatful for Skype and what it does as far as keeping our family in touch in a special way.
