It’s been 81 years since the most famous image of the Loch Ness Monster (Nessie to her friends) first appeared in the “Daily Mail.” You know, this one:

Eighty-one years later, and there’s still no solid evidence of this mythical creature, but fret not believers, Google’s on the case. Google’s mapped Loch Ness, above and below water level, for Google Maps street view, so you can see for yourself.

No one’s spotted Nessie yet, but who knows they could’ve missed a spot, or a branch…

Personally, I’m of the belief that if there in fact is a “monster” living in a lake in Scotland, Google probably already knows about it. They know you thought about buying boots last September, not to mention your mother’s maiden name, place of birth, and favorite color, finding Nessie (and her online shopping preferences) would be a piece of cake.
