SisterT and I had the VERY LAST MINUTE opportunity to go to the LadyA concert with my dad, his girlfriend, and his friends on Friday night. We screamed when we found out we were going!
It was 110 degrees outside, but that didn't stop anybody from coming... the place was packed. Local radio stations passed out fans, and venue workers were selling water bottles (of course for $5) everywhere. We were extremely fortunate when it came to our seats. We were right behind the pit, best seats I ever had; they made the concert much more of a memorable experience. Darius Rucker, Dave Haywood, and Charles Kelley pointed to us. I only had my iPhone camera, or there would have been a lot more picture taking. :)
The music was amazing, the singers superb, and the atmosphere was electric. If you haven't seen Lady A in concert, I highly recommend it. They are so sincere and friendly. Charles Kelley threw water bottles into the audience, and sang Nelly's "It's getting hot in here..." during the concert.
Here are some of our pictures...
Hope you all are getting excited for the 4th of July. It is my favorite holiday; I will be celebrating it with the BFFS and SisterT. Have a wonderful Sunday friends. Sending happiness your way!
