Today I'll be reviewing a blush duo from Lakme Absolute ~ Face Stylist Rose Blush, which is a beautiful mix of light and one shade dark pink. Both the shades can be applied individually or you can use both by blending them.

Packaging : comes packed in a black cardboard rectangular box which has the product name printed on it. Blush is placed in a black plastic case with a small blush brush at the bottom. The packaging reminds us of the Lakme Absolute Bronzer and Highlighter. The Blush case is round with a transparent lid. The Blush Brush is quite fluffy and would be useful for touch-ups. As the brush doesn't have in-built space in the blush, it becomes difficult to carry this small brush in your purse. Overall the packaging is cute and sturdy.
Hues of Pink : the blush has two shades of matte pink with no shimmers. the blushes give a soft warmth of color to the cheeks.
Texture : The texture is silky and smooth and blends easily making the application very easy.
These are not quite pigmented, you need to swipe the color on your cheeks 4-5 times to get desired depth of color on to your cheeks and hence might not show up on Dark complexions, else would work well with Fair to Medium Skin tones.Staying Power :
Stays on for 4-5 hours, but when layered on top of cream blushes the staying power prolongs by 2-3 hours. It might stay lesser during summers due to sweat.Shades available : Coral, Pink and Peach

Final Verdict
Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush duos comes in a sturdy packaging with blush brush provided, which is dense enough for touch-ups. Priced at Rs 750, is a bit costlier with less pigmentation. The texture is smooth and you have to layer the product for your desired color. Stays on the cheeks for 5 hours. The shade Rose, that I own has 2 hues of pink, with a lighter shade of pink and another a shade darker. When blended together, both gives beautiful rosy cheeks. Recommended for Fair to Medium skin tone!
