I have been meaning to make some small art frames to go on the laundry wall for a while now. I had bought the frames, dug the paper out of my scrap-booking supplies and searched the net for some laundry relevant quotes and sayings. Then it all sat there for a while until I finally found the time to make them.
I put them together last night and while they are no master piece, I am happy with how they turned out. Pre babies I would have spent a lot more time and made something more elaborate but considering how long it took for me to find the time to make these that is simply not going to happen. They just give a little color and prettiness to the laundry which lets face it not one of my favorite places to spend my time.
Once I picked the sayings I liked best (there are hundreds on the internet if you just type ‘laundry quotes and sayings’ into Google), I typed them up in the font, size and color I wanted and printed them out.
I bought two small white frames from our local bargain shop. Next I cut out the words, then cut the paper to the right size for the frame. I then glued the words on the blue paper.
They needed something else other than just the words so I found a blue patterned paper I liked and on the back I drew some small starfish and cut them out, then I glued the starfish where I wanted them.
Up they went. A nice touch to our laundry!
Ang
