White Christmas. Of course. What can I say? I've watched it since I was a kid. I know every lyric to every song and most of the dialogue, too. I've seen it at the movies three times and at home...more than I can count. But, really, it doesn't get more Christmasy than this. And everyone needs to see it at least once.

Elf. Ok, so when I first saw this movie at the theater I thought "meh." But over the years I've grown to love it and regularly quote phrases from it throughout the year much to my family's...amusement.

Christmas in Connecticut. Barbara Stanwyck stars (again!) as an early Martha Stewart type who is due to host a returning soldier at her farmhouse for Christmas. The only problem is she doesn't have a farmhouse, she's not crafty, and she can't cook. What's a gal to do? Well, have no fear. She figures it out and the results are hilarious and heartfelt and sweet and oh so Christmasy.

The Muppet Christmas Carol. I love Dickens. I love the Muppets. Naturally, I love this movie. And having read the book I'm amazed at how faithful this adaptation is. Right down to the fact that Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim are frogs. Just kidding.
