Leesa Mattress Review And What Makes It Different?

Posted on the 25 July 2018 by Alex_bumptobaby @bumptobaby_blog
If you know me then you'll know my favorite place in the world is my bed! There's no better feeling in the world than curling up under the duvet, on a comfortable mattress and snuggling at the end of a long day. When my boys fight bedtime, it blows my mind. Who doesn't like being in bed?!
For over a month now we've been testing The Leesa Mattress which has a massive 12,000+ 5 star reviews worldwide(!) and comes wrapped up tightly in a box. Read on below to find out our thoughts on it after a month of sleeping on it.

Mattress in a boxUp until this year the concept of mattresses being sold in boxes was totally new to me. I'd been dubious about whether or not a mattress sold in a box could compare to the mattress that I had had previously, but the answer is that they really, really can!

Comfortable from day one
We've been using the the Leesa mattress for over a month now and we've been comfortable sleeping on it from day one! The Leesa mattress has been designed with three foam layers that adjust to your body to give the best support and comfort possible without leaving long-lasting dips in the mattress like traditional memory foam mattresses can.

Three foam layers
Inside the mattress design, the three foam layers consist of Cooling Avena Foam on the top layer which provides airflow and bounce. Underneath that there is pressure relieving memory foam for body contouring and pressure relief and then the base foam layer is the dense core support which adds durability, strength and structure to support sleepers of all sizes without feeling too firm.

We've found the Leesa Mattress to be absolutely perfect in terms of not being too bouncy and not too firm - it's been just right and exactly what we'd hoped for.

100 Night risk-free trial period
Leesa mattresses are made in the UK and they come with a 100 night risk-free trial which means that if the matress isn't working for you, you can at any point within the first 100 nights of having it get back in touch with Leesa and they will arrange for the mattress to be collected and then donated to a charitable organisation.

Leesa's Social Impact
Another thing I am really impressed about with Leesa Mattresses is that the company actually donate one mattress for every ten that they sell. They also parter with the Arbor Day Foundation to plant one tree for every mattress that they sell. I think it's brilliant that Leesa are doing so much for chairty as a company - it really is a fantastic thing to do to give back like they are.

Our overall verdict of the Leesa Mattress is that it's super comfortable, both my Husband and I have been happy with it from day one and have slept perfectly on it. We both love going up to bed in the evening and laying on it. It's not too firm and not too soft, it's just right! The only other thing to mention is that there is a slight new mattress smell when you first open it and unroll it but we found this dissapeared completely after the first few days.
