Friday’s Quotes for the Chicks

Lesson 505 – Quotable Chicks

This is the coolest thing ever.
- Sue Lyons, Photographer

Yesterday, I got to cover the President’s visit to Nashua, NH  (just south of where I live.) I was also fortunate enough to have Sue Lyons there as a photographer. These are some of her terrific photos.

Hey, it was snowing, aint' nothing I can do about that hair (mine or Madi's)

Ace reporter in action - had the best talk with that young man

This isn’t the first time I’ve covered the President and as long as he keeps coming to New Hampshire, I don’t think it will be the last. He spent the entire talk speaking about Energy (man, if I were playing “Presidential-talk-shots, I would have been in trouble.) And although I would have liked to have had him say *something* about Healthcare, I understand that the President follows his own agenda and not mine.

*

Also, that Facebook text I sent from the talk got auto corrected from Fatti-Madi to Farting Madison. I haven’t changed the chicken’s name, it stands at Fatti-Madi.

*

And finally, as an extra treat, here is the incredibly easy Spice-pumpkin-butterscotch chip cookie recipe,

Combine 1 box of spice cake mix, 1 15-oz can of pumpkin puree, 1 egg, and 1 cup of chips.

Yup, that’s it, you’re done. (Not really a recipe as much as it is an arts and crafts project.)

Drop by spoonful and cook for about 15 minutes in a 350 oven.

You get a very cakey cookie, almost like a “dropped sweet-bread.”

Couldn’t be easier (and perfect for kids on vacation.)

Happy weekend everyone, health and happiness to the flock.
