I was going to put a chicken photo up with an appropriate quote but then we got the alert that there was a lock down at RIT because someone had spotted a man with a gun around the dorms. The situation was cleared when it was determined that the man was actually a student with a “samari sword handle umbrella,” but for two hours, Marc and I sat at our computers trying to reach our son at RIT and figure out what was going on and if he was okay.
Our first thought wasn’t that “hey it’s probably an umbrella”, our first thought was “we need to pray for our son’s safety.”
The ALL CLEAR has been called, all is well, the flock is safe.
I think I should go naturally grey and just get it over with.
