Lesson 608 – A Tomato, Olive, Cheese Sandwich and Thou

Posted on the 06 August 2012 by Wendythomas @wendyenthomas

This afternoon I took a break from my writing. With the passing of the recent thunder storms we find ourselves left with cooler, less oppressive weather. It’s the kind of weather where you actually want to spend time outdoors again.

I grabbed Charlie out of the coop and let her eat her greens while I munched on my toasted sundried tomato, olive, and cheese sandwich (hey, don’t knock it till you’ve tried it.)

First Charlie went here to eat some yummies.

And then she went there.

Finally Charlie realized that I had food in my hands and perhaps remembering the days when I wouldn’t think of eating something without sharing a bite or two with her, she advanced to my side, clearly expecting what was hers.

A bit of cheese, a crust of bread, and Charlie and I were both content.

A lunch well had by all.
