Lesson 648 – Quotable Chicks

What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness.
― John Steinbeck, Travels with Charley: In Search of America

Hurricane, snow storm, soccer playoffs, an admittance to Norwich University (the gymnast), an election, and fresh gingerbread. It’s been a busy last few weeks. Winter is well on it’s way and I’ve already gotten a desperate call from one college student “send more blankets, mom.”

We’re in a transition, you can feel it in the air.

And yet, here we all are, same as we were before. The most important thing? To be there for others when needed – small comforts speak volumes.

This weekend, please remember to look out for the flock, us all.

See you next week.

As always, happy weekend everyone, health and happiness (and safety) to your flock.
