Let Me Set Something Straight...

Hi friends - I really ask that you take the time to read this...
I debated even writing this because I don't want to acknowledge ridiculous behavior.
Last night I tweeted, "...people who post comments anonymously are cowards."
I had someone leave me a post telling me they were unfollowing me.
Their reason: Because I post giveaways, reviews and link ups.
If we are being honest, rude comments, emails, tweets - they hurt. We're human.
But I have so many great & wonderful things that I love about the blog that I try to just ignore these comments and focus on the positives.
I decided to address this comment, however, and that is because I was concerned about this on my own before this whole thing occurred.
When I started my blog I LOVED that people host giveaways!I won probably 15-20 giveaways in my first 2-3 months blogging.I remember thinking, "I wish I had been entering giveaways forever!"I won amazing home items, shopping cards, makeup, etc.
Now, if any of you have entered and won a giveaway, I'm sure you understand this feeling. When you get that email with the subject line: YOU WON!!You run around doing a happy dance (:
So when I started getting the opportunities from companies to giveaway free stuff -I jumped all over it!Companies send me an email, asking if I will review something and then they want to send a reader free stuff. How is that a negative thing?
What can be negative is if a blogger turns their blog into a constant stream of reviews and giveaways and forgets what their blog is all about.
I promised myself when I started the reviews, that I would keep a 1:1 ratio the best I could.1 personal post for every giveaway or review.
I have had a HUGE influx in offers for giveaways, so for the next few weeks there will probably be a giveaway almost every day...but I post those at 10am or 12pm...AFTER I post a recipe, personal post, or something from my heart.
I never want my readers to think I've "sold out" or be bored of my blog.I just thought that the ladies who love free stuff would appreciate the giveaways!
So all I ask is this:If you love Wifessionals, you love my life & my heart - Read my personal postsMy recipes, my diy, my army life
If you love the reviews & giveaways - Enter to your heart's delight!
If you don't want to see product reviews or giveaways - Just skip that post on your blog roll
My promise to you is that I will never "sell out"I will ALWAYS post from my life along with the reviews & free stuffI just try to do my best to offer EVERYTHING on my blogI love comments and emails and I take to heart constructive criticism
I am always VERY open with the fact that my top priority is to meet new friends, help small bloggers grow and try to encourage other ladies the best I can through Wifessionals.I just hope that you guys see that and know that I love you all very much!
Need a great gift idea?
