Let's Have Some Coffee...or....maybe Some Dr. Pepper Instead

I am a couple days late in doing my first ever coffee post to link up with Alissa, but here it is.

Come in. Sit down and stay awhile.
The Hubs and I had our first date night in 6 months.Yes you heard me...6 months!!!We went to Black Angus and grubbed on some delicious Steak...followed by a larger than life Chocolate Cake!
It was so nice to sit down for an uninterrupted dinner.We chatted about life...about our jobs...about our plans to buy a house...and about God.We had 2 hours of just us time.It was Perfect! The weather was absolutely Gorgeous here in So Cal.This weekend the kids played outside in the backyard A LOTThey are getting to an age where they really enjoy playing together.The love between them is Incredible! We had company on Sat night for dinner.They are expecting their first child...and we are SOOO excited for them.It was refreshing to have more adult time after the kiddos went to bed.We talked about Fears and Family for most of the night.As they were leaving we let them "shop our garage" and take any of our baby items they wanted.It was bittersweet because it hit me that our baby isn't a baby anymore :(BUT I am so Happy for them and excited to help them out in anyway!
Sunday we had planned to go to DisneylandBut it was WAY to hotSo we just played in the backyard and watched movies

(via) I have made the decision to unplug more often.The weekends especially, since I work all week.So this weekend was Amazing.I unplugged.I left my phone in the other room most of the time.I played with my kiddos.I talked with my hubs.
