Thanksgiving is upon us and whether you realize it or not, there’s something extra special about this year’s Thanksgiving.
For the first and only time in our lifetimes (assuming that no one discovers a cure for death…Google…) the first night of Hanukkah will fall on the same day as Thanksgiving.
Luckily for us, this auspicious day has arrived during the time of the Internet. So naturally, Thanksgivukkah (fantastic, right?) has given birth to a Twitter handle, hashtags, countless recipe lists and more than a few viral videos. It’s a thing.
So on this Festival of Lights and Turkey, whether you’re Jewish by birth or are just looking for a little something extra to celebrate, we wish you a very happy Thanksgivukkah!
