Dear D,
I am not sure what to really say to you, but I promised you that I would write, so here is my first letter to you. I miss you. A lot. I think about you often, and wish that you were here with me. I keep having memories, flash-backs, and day dreams of our time together. Picnics on the hill top near our home. Late night book reading sessions together.
It gets cold here at night without you. The days trend toward scorching. I walk a lot. Many miles a day on average, and it’s just not the same without you walking beside me. I keep pushing myself though. I keep making myself stronger.
It is almost time to lay down for the night, and I must prepare our beds. I will continue to lay a spot for you next to me until we meet again.
