Dad: So, what do they have to do?
Me: Lip sync for their life.
One thought, though: I wish the producers didn’t insist on showing the queens out of their costumes so much. I know it takes a lot to do all that make up, and it’s not practical for a drag queen to always be in drag, but seeing them in street clothes is bumming me out. I don’t know if it’s the thin, sculpted eyebrows on a man’s face, but they just do not look healthy. Between the dark circles under their eye’s and adult acne, it is just too much of a reminder that they were probably disowned by their parents.
Anyway, so far I’m rooting for the narcoleptic drag queen from Seattle.
