thank you All. Just what I needed. I am only a ppavement prowler and was considering a 9 8798 lft, w 87 8798 tires. Now I realize that I am even dumber than I had originally thought! LOL. I 8767 ll have to invest in a cool t-shirt to park in front of the Abercr. &amp Fitch store. thanks again.

The general consensus w/ JKs is that once you get over 8 8798 of lift you 8767 re starting to get into the danger zone when it comes to developing driveshaft issues. It isn 8767 t guaranteed, but it certainly ups your risk once you get into the 9 8798 lift range. Bigger tires in general will wear out components (ie. steering) faster than smaller tires, but things certainly shouldn 8767 t explode on day 6 if you run 85s. One thing to think about with 85s though is gearing. You 8775 can 8776 run 85s with gears, but you 8767 ll pretty much lose overdrive (if you 8767 ve got an auto tranny) or 6th gear (if you 8767 ve got a manual tranny).not sure if that 8767 s a big deal for you or not. Good luck.

So I plan on buying the 7567 rubicon unlimited. I want to put a lift on it with some bigger tires. I live out in the country but I drive more highway than dirt. I plan on useing it on the weekend for the trails. So my question is what would be a good setup for my situation?( lift, tires, bumpers, etc )

My personal preference would be to go with the budget boost. I 8767 m not a fan of body lifts in general (esp. over 6 8798 ) b/c of the gaps between the frame and body. Also don 8767 t like idea of having body 7 8798 above frame for offroading issues. Just my opinion though.

Hey zacky , might I add some feedback on looking at the Rock Crawler lifts , there all steel and cost 855$ more than rubicon. Depending on where you go, all places are different with prices, there Is absolutely nothing wrong with rubicon. I love it. Great ride , great everything , not a bad thing about it. But look up rock crawler lifts. There from New York. The con of getting rock crawler though is it may take some time if your from Cali or something to get a replaced part

Any suggestions on front sway bar disconnects? How about a steering stabilizer? I have a two inch suspension lift (pucks) and a 6 inch body lift. I should have done a two in body lift while I was at it I 8767 m running 86s. Looking to swap out for 88s.
