Last week I shared how we did our kitchen DIY wall panelling makeover using pre-cut wall panelling kits that we bought from B&Q. I shared some before and after photos and told you how pleased I was with the result (and still am!). I was so pleased with how easy, inexpensive and what a difference it had made in fact that we actually decided to do some more wall panelling, this time in our living room!
We used exactly the same pre-cut wall panelling kits and exactly the same paint! The panelling kits are called the Cheshire Moudings Pine Modern Wall Panelling Kit and they are just £19.97 per kit. As I said in my last post, what I also really like about these particular kits is that they come with a decorative top which sits on top of the panels and gives it that something extra!
To attach the wood to the wall we used No More Nails and then just caulked around any edges where there were gaps and then once the caulk was dry we painted it in Pavilion Grey by Farrow and Ball, which I think is a really. nice grey! Again, I feel the wall panelling has just added a little bit of character and of course a splash of color. The pre-cut panelling kits were definitely the way to go for us! They made the whole thing SO quick and easy to do.. Adam literally had the panelling on the wall ready to paint by the time I got back from the school run!
