There are plenty of places you could look for inspiration: Amazon has plenty of deals, macaroni art is always a hit, or you could always head to Pinterest for some last minute pinspiration (it’s just too easy).
But some advice, don’t let mom know. 42 percent of moms (surveyed) reported bouts of Pinterest stress. I believe the medical term would be pinterstress (really, too easy).
This is no laughing matter, the massive amounts of clever projects, numerous uses for toilet paper rolls, and 30 ways to prepare chicken in 30 minutes, have many moms feeling inadequate.
The truth needs to be revealed. I think we all know that Pinterest is the place that most of us only follow through with about 5% of the crafty pins we find on Pinterest. The mothers of the world need to know this.
Most of us would have to admit that our Pinterest boards are a farce. True story, I never actually made these cupcakes:
And yet, there they live on my Pinterest board. It’s a lie. A stress-inducing lie.
So, this mother’s day, remind your mother that you are not completing those incredibly clever cupcakes you pinned to your “Good Eats” board on Pinterest, perhaps by showing your lackluster crafting skills. Resurrect the macaroni art. It’s always a hit.
