I know, I know, there are probably a few of you out there who don’t consider yourselves, “museum people.”
But I’m a firm believer that there is a museum out there for everyone. Seriously. I feel like there’s a stereotype out there that all museums are quiet, “dignified” places where speaking above a stage whisper is frowned upon.
I’m not suggesting you start doing laps around the Degas, but I do think we could all do with a little lightening up about museums. (Keep breathing curators.)

Yes, there’s something to be said for having reverence for the history of these spaces, and seriously don’t start shouting at the Monets, but these are places of public learning, don’t forget that. So get out there and find your museum and keep learning, crusaders.
