Okay people, it’s do or die time. You’re either in or you’re out.
No pressure. You’ll just have to explain for the rest of your life why you were not witness to one of the greatest World Series ever.
That may be a stretch. However, there are seven games (fingers crossed), and you can’t be bothered to sit down for at least one of them?
You’ve already missed out on some excellent postseason drama. The blown call in game 3, plus the after-the-fact bullpen phone catastrophe of game 5 (still not sure what the real issue was).
These are the kinds of things that legendary World Series are made of.
So, it’s up to you. I’m sure you have plenty of other important things to do tonight and possibly tomorrow night (in the event of a Cardinals’ victory or a rain out). It is comedy Wednesday on ABC after all (wht DVRs were invented).
Just know that you run the risk of being the social pariah at the watercooler tomorrow.
