Make up VS Fashion

Have you ever wondered what makes a person look good physically? is it the make up? or is it the clothes?

i’ve been pondering about this question for a while now and have reached a conclusion. ultimately, make up is really more important. i mean, put the point of looking naturally beautiful without make up aside. i know that if you are pretty by nature without any need for cosmetics, that would obviously be the best. but for any other person out there, who weren’t born with natural beauty (me included), i would take the stand that make up is really important, next to self confidence. then again, i think make up enhances your confidence once you feel good about yourself.

people often tell me that make up isn’t needed to look nice. you should just be yourself and still look good. this could be a personal opinion, but i think with proper make up, like basics, such as good base, sunblock, a little blusher, some slight brown liner, mascara and nude shade lip gloss is all you need to look nice. natural, yet with color to your face so that your features look more outstanding rather than being flat (i mean i am asian, and i’ve the typical asian flat face).

also, i’ve seen countless models and people wearing the simplest styling clothes you can find. i.e. a tank top and skinnies with sandals. and they look good. i must say 60% of it comes from the confidence, 20% from the make up and 20% from the slim figure. (another factor to add in).

this is getting seriously complicated!

anyways, to sum it all up, if we are just looking at make up and fashion, i’d say make up is the greatest enhancer a person can use to look good with the clothes they wear.

and in order to prove this point, i’ve decided to try to come up with some make up tutorials to show how this works. the thing now is, i’d need time to make one!!! but that’s something to look forward to yea? so till my next post… take cares!
