Max Took Me on a Christmas Date!!

Today I saw my first ever 3D movie!

Max took me on a Christmas Date today!!! Isn’t he the best?! We started off the Holiday Festivities by seeing Arthur Christmas.

Please see this movie when the theater is full of children under the age of 12. They laugh at the strangest places and it makes the movie so much more fun!

We demolished the entire box of Starbursts…. and by we I mean mostly me.

The movie is hysterical and I have now named my phone My Hoho!

I’d like to take a moment from planned programming to report that my beloved iPhone Hoho is now fully repaired and safe in it’s Otter Box. I am no longer allowed to have cute phone cases and must rely on the ugly ones that will probably survive nuclear holocaust.

Okay, back to the Christmas Date……….

After the movie Max reminded me that tonight was the Lighted Boat Parade. In Monterey at Christmas they have a parade of boats that are decorated in twinkle lights. They parade out and around the bay, so we had dinner at a restaurant that looked right out onto the route.

This one was my favorite. He was the fastest and didn’t stay in line with the other boats…… That’s my kind of boat. He was a passer!

After a very filling dinner of margaritas, mexican street tacos, and corn chips we headed to Starbucks for caramel apple spice’s.

It’s not one of the “Holiday Drinks” but I refuse to drink them when it’s not Christmas. We both had the brilliant idea to head over to Pacific Grove and walk around Candy Cane Lane, a neighborhood that goes crazy with the Christmas Decorations. It’s a local holiday institution.

Whatever you say Yoda!

Santa has clearly been caught red handed………..

A true California Santa.

This house was scary! Why is Santa holding a gremlin?

People put the darndest things in their yards.

Tell me about you!!! I want to know…………..

What is your favorite Holiday Decoration at your house?

I love our light up moose for the front yard.

What is your favorite Holiday Coffee Drink?

Gingerbread Latte

Can you knit?
