Disclosure: I was told about this wonderful Wishes in Wine Country event taking place in the county I reside in and wanted to share the news as an avid supporter of Make a Wish Greater Bay Area.
Grab your calendars and get ready as Wishes in Wine Country comes to Sonoma County on Saturday, May 17th.
For the past 15 years Make a Wish Foundation and Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards have worked together to bring you a fantastic event showcasing some of the areas best wine and food.
The scenic views of beautiful croquet lawns to surrounding vineyards make the “Wishes in Wine Country” a truly fantastic event that takes place at the Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyard to benefit Make a Wish Greater Bay Area.
This event can begin as early as Friday evening with the opening night reception taking place at Kosta Browne Winery in Sebastopol for Gold Level Ticket Holders. Kosta Browne will be pouring their delicious wines for Make a Wish’s most generous donors and sponsors. Attire: Cocktail Wear.
And then the festivities continue on Saturday with the Grand Tasting (2:30 to 5:30pm) on the beautiful grounds of Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards. This Grand Tasting will include over 40 of the best restaurants and wineries in the area. Sit back, enjoy a glass of wine, sit underneath a cabana or take in a round of croquet all while raising money for Make a Wish Greater Bay Area.
Restaurants included in this year’s Grand Tasting are: Dry Creek Kitchen, The Girl and the Fig, El Dorado Kitchen, 630 Park Steakhouse, AppleBaum, Daily Grill, John Ash & Co, Mary’s Pizza Shack, Tony’s, Viola and many more.
Wines being poured that evening include: Sonoma-Cutrer, Alexander Valley Vineyards, Carol Shelton Wines, Castello di Amorosa, Colagrossi Wines, De La Montanya Winery & Vineyards, Dutton Estate, and many more.

And then continue the celebration with this one of a kind dinner to complete your Wine Country experience.
This dinner begins with an opening reception in the beautiful Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards terraces and then continues with a three course meal to follow from locally sourced food and wine pairing by Sonoma-Cutrer.
You’ll be able to bid on a variety of items including vacations, live TV shows, and other exclusive offerings during a short live auction then end the night dancing underneath the stars.
