Gosh, it is so weird to think that tomorrow is the 1st of September! This month has, of course, flown by - they all do! For Adam and I, it's been another month of learning how to juggle being parents to two very small children. It's certainly no easy thing and at times this month, we've felt quite overwhelmed. Adam and I have grown up together and have lived our lives pretty much in each others pockets - it's always worked for us that way. Having two young children, two jobs (though I'm on maternity leave from my part time job at the moment) a blog and an eBay business, can sometimes force us to be apart more than we've ever been used to. It's something we both find tough, but we know that we are building our foundations, we know our babies are still babies and we see that life changes all of the time. It's really just about how you adapt.
Being a family of four, though overwhelming at times, does feel great. Logan's changed so much already and has already shown us that he has quite a cheeky little personality. Ethan's equally just as cheeky and is continuing to make us proud with the improvement of his speech and how well he is getting on at nursery two mornings a week.
August has been full of mixed emotions as well as mixed weather.. we nearly ended up taking our family photo this month in the park in the rain on the day that we celebrated our third wedding anniversary, but we held off and August came through for us the following Saturday. Adam had pre-booked annual leave and for once the sun was shining on a day that he was 'off'.. so we headed over to Willen Lake for a picnic, where we took this photo Ethan's face is red and sore as he accidentally fell over on a gravel path - he landed on his hands, but they buckled beneath him and his face went straight into the gravel. Though he was a little upset, he soon forgot about it, especially after we brought him an ice cream). Apart from that, it was a lovely day and so that we'd remember it better, I made us this little video just so we could look back on the happy moments that we had throughout the day. :)
