October has been a busy old month and so has flown by. I can't believe how close we are to Christmas now - it's pretty crazy! Now that I'm a Mum to two, I'm so much busier and so I've already started Christmas shopping, because I know that it'll be Christmas just as quickly as I can blink and if I don't shop now, Christmas will roll on round and I'll have brought nothing.
Adam turned 27 at the beginning of October.. 27... I don't even know how that's happened! HOW are we both 27!? It's not particularly old I know, it's just that the years have flown! We spent his birthday in Camber Sands this year - it was so lovely to visit the beach and to have some time out as a family and with his parents too.
I've done a lot of thinking this month, thinking about direction and change in a personal and work aspect. Thinking about the next few years. Thinking of how soon we'll hopefully be looking at getting our house renovated. I've suffered a lot with my back this month too and that's been hard, really hard. I've realised how incredibly weak I am and how much I need to work on increasing my strength as I've got to the point where I feel I am struggling to carry Logan, bath the kids or do simple things like sit on the floor and play with them both. I'm working on things though, I'm seeing an osteopath again and I've signed up for physio which will start next week. I'm going to focus on what I'm putting into my body food-wise and make sure that I'm getting at least ten minutes a day to myself to relax. A fellow blogging and channel-mum'er introduced me to an app called Headspace and I'm so glad that she did as I really need it in my life.
I've shared some of these photos of our little family from our weekend away already here on my blog and on social media, but I really like them and they remind me of Adams birthday. And so they've just got to be my chosen photos for Octobers Me and Mine.
And I'm going to throw in this one in too, because any photo in which we're all in it instantly becomes a favorite of mine. :)
I hope you've all had a lovely October. Do go and check out our lovely host Lucy, she has just had her beautiful baby girl (congratulations again lovely!). I am really excited to see her first ever Me and Mine pictures as a family of five as I just know that they'll be utterly beautiful!
