Posted on the 31 May 2013 by Theandroidtimes @androidtimes
Samsung Galaxy S4 is the hottest phone on this planet at the moment with 10 million sales in less than a month but some people prefer budget phones of smaller size. Well, Samsung has something for you as usual. Samsung today announced Galaxy S4 Mini, a mid range device available at a lower price point. The specs of the two phones are very different so 'mini' does not mean Galaxy S4 in a smaller size.

The specs include 4.3-inch qHD (960×540) Super AMOLED display,  1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, support for 64GB microSD card, 8 and 1.9 megapixel cameras and a 1,900mAh battery. The S4 mini measures 124.6 x 61.3 x 8.94mm, making the device significantly smaller than the 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm size of the Galaxy S4. The device will be running Android 4.2.2 out of the box.
Galaxy S4 Mini will be packed with the features of it's bigger sibling like Shot&Sound, Samsung Hub, S Health, Adapt Display, S Travel, Story Album, Group Play, ChatOn, Adapt Sound and much more. Some advance features like Air View, Smart Scroll, Smart Pause and Smart Stay will not be supported on this device. There's been no word on pricing and release date yet.
