I started blogging after I graduated college & began my wedding planning process. I am a lover of Jesus & thankful for the gifts he provides each & everyday. I am a country living, sport lovin' barefoot blue jeans a beer drinking kinda Lady. Come October 13th of 2012, I will be a navy wife. I blog about our lives with the military, wedding planning, living on a dirt road in San Diego, working way too much, having too many animals, fitness or lack of & becoming a mom to a 4 year old little boy & much more.

Going on vacation to Minnesota & watching my little sister graduate high school

I blog about fashion, faith and philanthropy! Modest fashion, mommy moments, and giving back are the theme at flats to flip flops! I also co-founded The Hudson Foundation, which is a non profit charity that helps give hope to couples struggling with infertility.
What are you most looking forward to this month?
Nice weather and spending time outside as a family! June is actually pretty low key for me! Now July, that's a whole other matter!

june is going to be a big month for us! B gets to celebrate his first father's day (which i have to make even bigger & better than he made my first mother's day) and mack gets to go to utah to meet B's side of the family for the first time. mix that in with lots of DIY projects and a couple of give-aways and my house is going to be a happening place!

Hannah James {the shop} started to help us raise money for our adoption, while helping other families as well. We believe most people are afraid to look into adoption because of the high cost. We hope Hannah James will help a little, while giving encouragement to those on the road less traveled. It is our mission that by helping other Hannah's we can bring home more James'.

What are you most looking forward to this month?
We are still adjusting to life as a family of five. It is great the weather is nice and we can go outside and have more room to move around and continue to adjust. Thank you nice weather!!!
