My name is Tiffany and I blog over at The Dwelling Tree. I have a little space where I blog that is dedicated to posts on family, faith, and lovely little things like recipes and DIY tutorials. My goal is to share with readers, to encourage other moms and women out there, and to capture moments and memories through my blog. Before I get to the fun part (giveaway, of course), I wanted to share a little about myself with you all.
Why did you start blogging?Blogging is my way to get everything out of my head. I am a list girl. I have lists all over my house. On a chalk board. In my I phone. In about seven journals. Strewn across my desk. Every since I was about 18 I kept a list of ideas or topics I wanted to write about, do, or ponder.
I fell in love with some blogs when I was pregnant and thought- "Hey, I can do that!!".
Blogging is a way for me to find relief! I love that it encompasses all of my deepest passions- writing, making memories, and sharing recipes and DIY tutorials. I love that I can share my faith with other amazing women all around the world. I dream of writing a book. Blogging is a way to help me accomplish that.
What is your favorite drink?Morning: Definitely a lovely, beautiful caffeinated beverage. My go-to drink (write this down, trust me) is 2 shots of espresso over ice, 2 pumps of white mocha, and a teensy bit of half and half. It will change your world and make you awake and totally productive!
Evening: Oh, how I love a mojito. Mint and lime? Oh yes please. My hubby makes killer mojito's and we use fresh mint from our garden.
What is your favorite part about being a Mom?
The wild, ridiculous, and hilarious moments. From the moment you see a positive sign on the stick, parenting is delightfully gross. Pregnancy is filled with weird things happening to your body and caring for a baby is filled with them doing weird things to your body.
Why do children pull of their diapers and go poo on the floor?!
How do they manage to find the most comfortable spot on the bed your head?!
Why do they put everything (including dog food, bugs, and sand) in their mouths?!
I will never know. But I do know one thing: my husband and I have never laughed so hard in our entire lives. I wouldn't trade it for the world.
